Take a typical design scenario: a machine assembly created using one CAD system, for example, SolidWorks.  The engineers do not design all the parts, however; they specify many parts from their supply chain, even more may be supplied by a program partner, contracted for a specialized...

    You might be interested in what we are up to also on the 3D CAD collaboration front. 3D CAD collaboration prototyping application that can be completely embedded into any Microsoft Office app – FULL GUI. Lightweight but very powerful. Stand alone version also but opens up 3D CAD collaboration to the masses!
